SIX PROJECTS LAUNCHED TO REFORM DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN ARUNACHAL PRADESH
The session 2022-2023 has been marked as the year
of eGovernance. The state government of Arunachal Pradesh has achieved a major
milestone in its eGovernance initiatives as 18 out of the 22 critical
eGovernance projects have been completed, while the remaining four are on the
fast track for completion and implementation across various departments under
the Year of eGovernance (2022-23).
In a grand launch event held on 4 May 2023 at Itanagar, six projects under the year of eGovernance 2022-23 were launched by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Shri Pema Khandu, in the presence of Hon'ble Minister of Health and Environment, Shri. Alo Libang, Ld. Chief Secretary, other Principal Secretaries, Commissioners, Secretaries, and senior officers of various departments, six projects were launched. These projects will bring numerous benefits to the citizens of the state, making their lives easier and more convenient.
The first project launched is the CM e-Jansunwai application, which is an integrated online portal for speedy grievance redressal and ensures effective and efficient monitoring of grievances by various departments. Citizens can now log in to https://cmejansunwai.arunachal.gov.in/ and lodge their grievances or complaints to the state government. The second project is the CM e-Seva, which is a single integrated portal for all the online government eServices for the citizens. With this portal, citizens can log in to https://cmeseva.arunachal.gov.in/ and find all eServices under a single platform, making it easier to access and use these services.
The third project launched is the CM Dashboard, which is a centralized web-based dashboard for monitoring the central and state governments' projects by the CMO. The fourth project is the CM ePragati with CSS tracker, which is a multi-purpose, multi-modal platform to review and monitor programs and projects of the central and state governments by the state government. The fifth project launched is the Health Management Information System (iHMIS), which is a comprehensive digital platform for managing health-related information. Finally, the sixth project is iTelemedicine, which is an online platform for medical consultations, making it easier for citizens to receive medical advice and treatment from the comfort of their own homes.
Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu expressed his satisfaction with the projects and emphasized the need for maximum widespread promotion so that the citizens and the government departments of the state can benefit from them. He stressed that citizens should make optimum use of the applications and portals to access all the necessary services directly on their electronic devices and reduce their visits to the offices. Despite the geographical challenges faced by the state, it has emerged as one of the leading performers in eGovernance projects. The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to the Hon'ble Prime Minister for his vision of Digital India, which made this milestone possible.
During the launch event, the Minister for Health congratulated all the stakeholders and his team from the Health Department for the successful implementation of the projects. He stressed the need for training at the panchayat level to ensure maximum benefit is reaped from the projects. The Ld. Chief Secretary also applauded the efforts put in by all the stakeholders of all the projects. He requested the nodal departments like the AR and Health Department and linked Departments to effectively use the applications and enhance them if necessary.
In conclusion, the launch of these six eGovernance projects is a significant step towards making the lives of citizens in Arunachal Pradesh more convenient and easier. With these projects, citizens can access government services online, report grievances or complaints, and receive medical consultations from the comfort of their own homes. The government's efforts in implementing these projects deserve recognition and appreciation, and the citizens should make optimum use of them to reap the maximum benefits.
