74th Republic Day Celebration of Arunachal Pradesh
Itanagar Capital Region
On January 26, the Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu saluted the national flag and delivered the republic day speech at Itanagar's IG Park. CM announced the names of several departments and officials for their outstanding performance for the state's development during the event, while praising the departments and officials of the state. Various cultural programmes, parades, and dance performances were presented by the police departments and the students from various schools and colleges. The chief minister also urged the public to come forward and join the movement for a drug-free Arunachal Pradesh.
Anjaw
The
Republic Day was celebrated with a great zeal at Hawai in Anjaw district. The
SDO Hawai Smti. N.K. Namchoom unfurled the tricolor national flag, in the
presence of officials, villagers, students, and others. The event was followed
by parade and cultural events, displayed by the students of several schools.
Several students were also awarded with certificates during the event for their
performances in the board exams.
Changlang
The Republic Day was
celebrated with great fanfare in Arunachal Pradesh's Changlang district. The
programme began with the singing of the National Anthem, followed by the
unfurling of the tricolour National Flag by DC Changlang and Shri Sunny K
Singh. He highlighted the significance of the day and urged the public to
inculcate the spirit of patriotism and be loyal to the nation. He urged the
public to stand united against drugs, alcohol, and any form of social vice. He
also highlighted the importance of education for the development of society.
Dibang Valley
Along with the rest of
the nation, the Dibang Valley district celebrated the 74th Republic Day with great zeal at the
district headquarter, Anini. Several stalls and camps for several departments,
including the medical camp, were also installed at the event to commemorate the
celebration. The programme was followed by a march past by the students of
various schools and several contingents of the police and paramilitary forces.
The programme ended with an award distribution ceremony.
East Kameng
Along with the states of
India, the East Kameng district celebrated Republic Day with much pomp. The day
began with the hoisting of the national flag at the district headquarters by
the Deputy Commissioner, followed by a march past by the police personnel, NCC
cadets, and scouts and guides. The day also saw several cultural programs, such
as traditional dances, skits, and patriotic songs.
East Siang
The 74th Republic Day was
celebrated in grand style in the Pasighat district of East Siang, where the DC
East Siang unfurled the tricolour national flag in the presence of Hon'ble MLA
Shri Kaling Moyong, officials, the general public, and students. The event was
followed by the March Past by various security forces and school children, who
saluted the National Flag and expressed their love for the country. The DC also
addressed the gathering, highlighted the importance of the day, and urged
everyone to stay united and celebrate this day with great enthusiasm.
Kurung Kumey
Commemorating the
celebration of India’s 74th Republic Day, the district administration of Kurung
Kumey observed the auspicious occasion with great zeal. The Deputy
Commissioner, Shri Otem Jamoh, unfurled the national flag, where several
students showcased cultural events, followed by the felicitation of awards.
West Siang
The 74th Republic Day was celebrated with pomp and gaiety at
Aalo. Sri Penga Tato (APCS), Deputy Commissioner West Siang District,
raised the national flag at the Govt. High and Secondary School Aalo Ground to
pay tribute to the nation's great freedom fighters and nation builders. He also inspected the district-level parade and awarded
prizes to excellent performers. The Deputy
Commissioner also highlighted the importance of Republic Day and appreciated
the efforts of all the district officers, police personnel, and staffs of the
line departments in making the event a grand success.
Upper Subansiri
Along with the entire
nation, the Upper Subansiri district celebrated the 74th Republic Day with great enthusiasm.
Hon’ble Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Shri Nakap Nalo attended the
occasion and unfurled the national flag in front of officials, the general
public, and students. Various cultural programmes were also organised to mark
the occasion. Students presented dances, songs, and plays showcasing the rich
culture and heritage of the district.
Upper Siang
The 74th Republic Day was celebrated with zeal in Yingkiong. As the chief
guest, DC Hage Lailang hoisted the national flag in front of the Hon'ble
Minister of Health and FW Shri Alo Libang, eminent public leaders, HoDs,
administrative officers, schoolchildren, and members of the general public. At
the occasion, beautiful wooden crafts were also displayed on the exhibition
stall of the Textile and Handicraft Department.
Tirap
Along with the rest of the country, the
74th Republic Day was celebrated with great pomp and show at the district
headquarters in Khonsa, Tirap district. While unfurling the
tricolour on this occasion, DC Tirap Hento Karga greeted the people
of Tirap, the state, and the country as a whole. He also paid
tribute to the father of the nation and all the martyrs who had laid down
their lives for the freedom and democracy of the country. The DC called on the people of Tirap to remain united and
work towards the progress and prosperity of the district. He also said that the
district has a lot of potential waiting to be explored and that the state
government has taken various initiatives to empower the people of the district.
He also urged the people to take full advantage of all the welfare schemes
launched by the state and federal governments.
Tawang
On the occasion of the 74th Republic Day, DC Tawang Shri K.N. Damo unfurled
the national flag at the district headquarters in Tawang. Earlier, DC Tawang
and Cdr. Tawang Brigade paid tribute to the unsung heroes of 1962 who made the
supreme sacrifice to protect the motherland at the Tawang War Memorial.
Celebrating the occasion, the Indian Army also displayed the weapons used by
them to the children and general public.
Siang
The 74th Republic Day was celebrated with
great fanfare here in Boleng, Siang District. Gracing the auspicious
occasion, Chief Guest Shri Gyabo Pertin ADC (HQ) unfurled the national flag.
People from all walks of life took part in the celebration. Various departments
put up stalls to showcase their products, and exhibition stalls were
inaugurated by Smti Osi Mibang ZPC on this special occasion. A special cultural
programme was organised with the traditional and folk dances of the Adi
community. The celebration was concluded with an inspiring speech by the chief
guest, Shri Gyabo Pertin, ADC (HQ).
Shi Yomi
Joining the others, the Shi Yomi district
celebrated the 74th Republic Day with great zeal, where the police
personnel and students showcased the parade and cultural events.
Papum Pare
On the occasion of the 74th Republic Day, Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner
Shri Sachin Rana, IAS, unfurled the national flag at Yupia's Golden Jubilee
outdoor stadium. He further highlighted the importance and significance of the
Constitution of India and urged the people to abide by it.
Pakke
Kessang
The Pakke Kessang district celebrated the
auspicious 74th Republic Day with great zeal. Several students from
various schools took part in the occasion and showcased band performances, a
parade, and cultural items. The day ended with inspiring messages for everyone
present and an assurance to work hard towards nation-building.
Namsai
Namsai Deputy Commissioner C. R. Khampa unfurled
the national flag and saluted the marching contingents at the APIL Ground in
Namsai to commemorate the 74th Republic Day. Local MLA Chau Zingnu Namchoom
also graced the occasion and inaugurated the exhibition stalls.
Kamle
The 74th Republic Day celebration was observed with much
fervour at Raga, Kamle District. Kamle DC and SP along with other dignitaries
of the District visited the stall set up by the Self-Help Groups (SHGs) of the
Tamen-Raga Block Mission Management Unit, Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods
Mission (ArSRLM) and acknowledged the initiation of ArSRLM towards building
Livelihoods and Social Development.
Kra Daadi
Kra Daadi observed the celebration of the 74th Republic Day
cum Seva Aapke Dwar camp at General Ground, Palin. The camp provided services
such as availing of Free NCDs Screening tests, Covid -19 Vaccination, and
enrolling PMJAY & CMAAY under all Health departments of the kra-Daadi
district.
West Kameng
West Kameng observed the Republic Day celebration with full
contentment. The spectators at General Ground, Rupa town, West Kameng District,
witnessed the mega dance, and prize distributions and the crowd at the General
Ground, Nafra saw Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan Volunteers perform Mock Drills on
Disaster Management to sensitise people about CPR, bandaging, etc
Leparada
HMLA Basar, Gokar Basar; DC, Mamata Riba; SP, P.N Thongdok and
other dignitaries graced the 74th Republic Day celebration of Leparada at Todak
Memorial Stadium Basar. The celebration observed march past, PTs and dance and
other cultural performances by school students followed by distributing the
awards & certificates to awardees of various categories. Exhibition stalls
were all pitched by various departments and NGOs.
Lohit
The 74th Republic Day
was observed at Jubilee Ground, Tezu in the presence of the Deputy
Commissioner, Lohit, Shri Shashvat Saurabh who unfurled the tricolour of our
nation. The occasion also saw participation from the denizens of Lohit in
cultural performances.
Longding
Shri Bani Lego, DC Longding unfurled the National flag on the
occasion of the 74th Republic Day celebrated at Longding Hq.
The celebration witnessed colourful performances along with
prize distribution and was attended by HMLA Tanpho Wangnaw, Lohpong Wangham
ZPC, ZPMs and all the officers.
Lower Dibang Valley
Smti Soumya Saurabh(IAS), DC Roing, graced the 74th Republic
day celebrated at Roing as a Chief Guest in the presence of Shri Mutchu Mithi,
MLA 43rd Roing constituency, Shri James K Lego, SP Lower Dibang Valley District,
former CM Shri Mukut Mithi, Shri Komji Linggi, ZPM Roing, Shri Rajen Mickrow,
ZPM Abali, Shri Laeta Umbrey, former MP and other Dignitaries.
Lower Siang
The 74th Republic day was celebrated with much zeal in
Likabali, Lower Siang district where DC, Shri Marto Riba unfurled the tricolour
and highlighted the activities and achievements of the district in various
sectors. The event saw a vibrant display of cultural performances, followed by
felicitation certificates to various departments, workers, and NGOs for their
work, as well as the event featured a traditional cultural exhibition by
several departments such as DFDO Agriculture, Horticulture, PHED, DVO etc.
Lower Subansiri
The 74th Republic Day was celebrated at Padi Yubey Outdoor
Stadium, Hapoli, Ziro, Lower Subansiri District with much grandeur. The event
witnessed cultural performances, followed by the distribution of prizes and
Commendation Certificates, as well as a Seva Aapke Dwar exhibition camp was
also set up on the premises.
