73rd Republic Day Celebration of Arunachal Pradesh:-

Itanagar

On the 26th of January, the state celebrated the 73rd Republic Day of India with much pomp. Governor B D Mishra unfurled the national flag at the Indira Gandhi Park Itanagar. Speaking at the grand commemoration, he applauded the armed forces and the police for maintaining the internal as well as external law and order of the nation. He also appreciated the health workers for their immense contributions in monitoring the spread of Covid-19. Reminding the people that the pandemic is not over, he appealed to the people to follow strict Covid appropriate behaviour. Addressing many issues and lauding many contributions and achievements, he appealed to the citizens for cooperation with the state government and work in an efficient way for a better future.











East Siang

The 73rd Republic Day was celebrated with Deputy Commissioner Shri TayiTaggu hoisting the National Flag, in the presence of Hon MLA Shri Kaling Moyong and other dignitaries in the premises of Siang Guest House, Pasighat. Addressing the people, DC Tayi Taggu outlined the priorities of the District Administration for providing responsive services towards its people. He also highlighted the various achievement made by the Govt. in the field of the health sector, education sector, and many other infrastructures constructed by the Pasighat Municipal Corporation. Commendation certificates were also awarded to various departments for their dedication, sincerity, and hard work.



Kradaadi

KraDaadi joined the 73rd Republic Day celebration with its Deputy Commissioner of Shri Higio Tala unfurling the National Flag at the general ground, Palin to commemorate the Republic Day celebration. Speaking at the occasion, he highlighted the various developments that took place over the past year that included the installation of an Oxygen plant at District Headquarters, the establishment of Health Centres, and several other successful projects. Certificate of Appreciation was handed over to M/s B.M. Enterprises, M/s Tayo Enterprises, and Mr. Charu Tatung for their contribution to the successful completion of road works under PMGSY. The commemoration was concluded with the curriculum activities displayed by the students of the various schools of the district.



Upper Siang

The 73rd Republic Day celebration was observed at District. HQ. Yingkiong where the DC Upper Siang unfurled the National Flag in presence of Hon'ble Min. H&FW Shri. Alo Libang and other HoDs. The celebration was followed by the Republic Day Parade, showcased by NCC and Scouts & Guides of various school students. Addressing the celebration, he appreciated the health department for their hard work and dedication in monitoring the spread of Covid-19. He also highlighted the development that took place in the district. A 2-bedded dialysis unit was also inaugurated by the Hon’ble Minister of H&FW, Shri Alo Libang.




Papumpare

The 73rd Republic Day of India was observed in a grand manner at district headquarters Yupia. The Deputy Commissioner Papum Pare District Minga Sherpa, IAS unfurled the national flag as the Chief Guest of the auspicious event amid the gatherings of officers, Police, ITBP personnel, Govt. officials, school children, HGBs, GBs, PIs, and the general public. Appreciating the health department for successfully conducting over 1 lakhs COVID tests and vaccinating 63,500 persons including the Har Gar Dastak campaign, he appealed to the public to adhere to the covid guidelines and take up vaccinations to fight the pandemic. The notable events of the occasion were cultural rally, guard of Honour by ITBP, exhibition stalls from Agriculture, Horticulture, Textile and Handicrafts, Tourism, IEC Display Van by IPR, Dordopew Self Help Groups, M/s O3 enterprises, tree plantations, and vaccination drive by Health department.



Lower Dibang Valley

The 73rd Republic Day was celebrated at Roing with great fervor. The Deputy Commissioner Soumya Saurabh (IAS) hoisted the National Tiranga in the presence of former CM Mukut Mithi, MLA Mutchu Mithi, ZPC Obang Ngupok, SP J. K. Lego, dignitaries, heads of departments, and guests.

Talking about the pandemic, the DC Lower Dibang Valley asked the public to follow Covid appropriate behaviour, get tested, and get vaccinated.

Highlighting various infrastructure developments in various sectors of the district, she appealed to the students to study well. She also put special emphasis on women of the district becoming financially independent through involvement with SHGs.


Upper Subansiri

Commemorating the grand celebration of India’s 73rd Republic Day, the district administration of Upper Subansiri observed the auspicious occasion with much fervour. The Deputy Commissioner Shri Mika Nyori unfurled the national flag and took part in the plantation program on the occasion of Republic Day followed by the felicitation of awards.






Tirap

The 73rd Republic Day was celebrated at Khonsa, Tirap district while maintaining proper Covid-19 SOP. Shri Taro Mize, DC Tirap as Chief Guest unfurled the National Flag in presence of the Head of Offices, Indian Army, PRI members, and Students. The celebration was followed by the Republic Day Parade, showcased by Army personnel, APP, NCC, and Scouts & Guides of various school students. Addressing the celebration the DC thanked all the Frontline workers, the Indian Army, and other Departments for their sincere duty towards the district. He also inaugurated the Dialysis Unit at District Hospital, Khonsa.






Tawang

Celebrating the 73rd Republic Day of India at Tawang district, Shri KN Damo Deputy Commissioner, Tawang unfurled the Tricolor at General parade ground, Tawang. Among the invitees were the MLA Tawang, Tsering Tashi, and Commander Tawang Brigade Brigadier NM Bendigeri who attended the auspicious occasion as the Guest of Honour and special guest for the celebration respectively. Paying his sincere tributes to all the freedom fighters, he appreciated the contributions of all the great leaders of the state. He lauded the state departments viz. health, education, etc. for their relentless service during the pandemic. In addition, he spoke highly of the cordial relationship maintained between the military and the civilians of Tawang.


Leparada

Commemorating the 73rd Republic Day at Leparada district of Arunachal Pradesh, DC Shri Murnya Kaki unfurled the Tricolor as Chief Guest at Basar. Speaking on the occasion, he remembered all the great leaders of the state and their contribution to making Modern Arunachal Pradesh. He also appreciated all the departments for their selfless contribution in fighting against the Covid pandemic. Several groups/societies displayed various exhibitions of handcrafts items. Students from several schools also performed various curriculum activities to commemorate the celebration.




West Siang

The Republic Day celebration was observed in a grand manner at Aalo, West Siang where Deputy Commissioner Shri Penga Tato graced his presence and unfurled the National Flag as a Chief Guest. Addressing the occasion he remembered the architects of the Indian Constitution who established a sovereign, secular and democratic India. He also urged the Govt. officers PRIs and the public to work together for the development of the district. Medals and certificates were handed over to the young sportspersons who have won the recent state-level competitions. The program was continued with the band display by 4 Jakli Regiment from Aalo Military Station, parade by APP, NCC, and Scout & Guides, and other cultural activities.


Changlang

Along with the other districts of Arunachal Pradesh, Changlang also observed the 73rd Republic Day of India in a befitting manner. The Deputy Commissioner of Changlang Dr. Devansh Yadav, IAS attended the event as the Chief Guest unfurling the national flag in the presence of Deputy Speaker APLA Shri Tesam Pongte, ZPC Miss Kapseng Kungkho, CO 9-AR Surendar Kumar, and a host of Officers, Heads of Offices and Public Leaders. On the occasion, the winners of the 1st State level Power Lifting event were felicitated followed by the felicitation of Best Performing Officers under Engineering Dept, Agri & Allied, Health, Police & Other Line Dept of the District, Gaon Burahs, and Best Performing Officers for SDG. Various awards were provided along with some colourful cultural and martial arts displays.








Longding

Shri DakliGara, DC in charge today unfurled the National flag to celebrate the 73rd Republic Day of India at Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh, in presence of ZPC, ZPM, SP Longding, Commandant of 40 Assam Rifles, Commanding Officer CRPF, HODs, and other officials. The program also included the parade and other cultural activities. Addressing the program, the DC briefed about the special day and appealed to its citizens to work together with the Govt. for the development of the district.



East Kameng

Commemorating the auspicious occasion of the 73rd Republic Day celebration of India, the Deputy Commissioner of East Kameng district P. Pravimal Abhishek graced his presence and unfurled the Tricolor as Chief Guest at the General Ground, Seppa. Addressing the occasion, he highlighted the various infrastructural developments in various sectors of the district. He also put special emphasis on women of the district becoming financially independent through involvement with SHGs. March past and other cultural programs were also displayed by the AAPs, NCC, and Scout & Guides of several schools.




Lower Subansiri

Commemorating the special occasion of India's 73rd Republic Day celebration, the Deputy Commissioner of Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh Smt. Somcha Lowang unfurled the national flag at Padi Yubbe Outdoor Stadium. Addressing the occasion she urged the public to uphold the spirit of justice, liberty, and equality and work together with the Govt. for the development of the district. The program was followed with the cultural presentation, games & sports by the school children. A friendly football match was also held between DC XI and Minister XI at the occasion.




Namsai

Witnessing the auspicious occasion of 73rd Republic Day, Deputy Commissioner Namsai, R.K. Sharma unfurled the National Flag at Stadium Ground, Namsai. Addressing the occasion, he remembered the heroes who selflessly fought for our freedom and built a free India. He also handed over a certificate of appreciation to the DHO Namsai for the cleanest office and Manpoong colony Namsai for the cleanest colony of the district. Parade, march past, cultural presentation, games & sports by the school student were also displayed at the program.




West Kameng

The West Kameng district celebrated the auspicious occasion of 73rd Republic Day with the DC Shri Karma Leki hoisting the National flag at Buddha stadium of Bomdila. Speaking at the event, the DC appreciated all the departments for their dedication and sincere work. He also awarded The Governor’s Appreciation for Academic Excellence to Miss Bina Sonar, Mr. Wangchu Thungon, and Miss Pema Yangchen.





Pakke Kessang

The 73rd Republic Day celebration was observed at PakkeKessang with much pomp and gaiety where Deputy Commissioner Shri Tayek Pado graced his presence and unfurled the National Flag. The Republic Day celebration was followed by many cultural activities displayed by school students and several women of the district. Various appreciation certificates were also handed over to the departments, sportspersons, and students.





Siang

The 73rd Republic day was observed in a grand & befitting manner, Observing Covid protocols. Deputy Commissioner, sri Atul Tayeng unfurled the National Flag as Chief Guest. MLA Ojing Tasing, Smty Osi Pabin CPZP, public leaders & heads of departments attended the program. Sri Tayeng extended the heartiest greetings to the people & remembered those great men & women who laid down their lives for freedom. He exhorted the gathering to honour their sacrifices by contributing to nation-building & living in peaceful coexistence.
