36th Statehood Day celebration of Arunachal Pradesh across several districts

Commemorating the 36th Celebration of Statehood Day of Arunachal Pradesh, various districts of the state observed the auspicious day with much enthusiasm. Several events took place across the districts of the state where the concerned dignitaries unfurled the Tiranga and paid tribute to the magnificence of Arunachal Pradesh. Here is a recapitulation of the events that took place today during the 50 years of celebration in Arunachal Pradesh. 

1. Tawang

  

 

Marking the auspicious occasion of the 36th #statehoodday today, the #Tiranga was unfurled at the Tawang District Headquarters by the ZPC Tawang Shri Leki Gombu. He lauded the various departments like health, education etc. for their relentless service during the pandemic. The event saw the disbursement of loans to the beneficiaries of Atma Nirbhar Bagwani Yojana and Atma Nirbhar Krishi Yojana, while various cultural activities were performed by several groups created a joyous ambience in the event.

2. Yachuli, Lower Subansiri


The Lower Subansiri Zilla Parishad Chairperson, Smt Likha Sang Chhore unfurled the National Flag at Yachuli general ground, gracing the auspicious occasion of the statehood day celebration as Chief Guest. Addressing the event she also lauded the various departments like health, education etc. for their relentless service during the pandemic. Boys & girls of several schools participated in various curriculum activities to commemorate the celebration. Speaking at the event, she further urged the Govt. officers, PRIs and public to work together for the development of the district.

3. Kra Daadi

 

The Hon'ble ZPC, Smt. Charu Menia unfurled the national flag as the Chief Guest at Kra Daadi district on the occasion. Gracing the occasion, DC Shri Higio Tala, distributed blankets and bed sheets to the Puroik community and also disbursed loans to the beneficiaries of Atma Nirbhar Bagwani Yojana and Atma Nirbhar Krishi Yojana. Numerous performances took place to celebrate the auspicious occasion. Speaking as the Chief Guest, Smt. Charu Menia appreciated the Govt. employees for working their level best in order to usher in all-round development in the district.

4. Upper Siang

Upper Siang celebrated the occasion at HQ Yingkiong, where DC Shri. Shashvat Saurabh unfurled the national flag in presence of SP, ZPC, ITBP officials and other dignitaries. Commendation certificates were also handed over to the players who had won medals at the state level tournaments in various sports. To facilitate the farmers, tractors were distributed to the beneficiaries under Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanisation. In addition, a Sarkar Aapke Dwar campaign was also organized in the General Field ground as part of the Statehood celebration. 1128 availed benefits from several departments. In addition, the Forest Division Yingkiong organized a tree plantation drive with the motto - “Nothing can beat planting trees for better tomorrow”.

5. West Kameng

 

 

The ZPC West Kameng Smt. Rinchin Zomba Merakpa unfurled the Tiranga at the Buddha Stadium, Bomdila today & advised the youths to abstain from taking drugs.  The programme showcased various cultural activities with vibrant performances. Addressing the program, ZPC briefed about this special day and appealed to the citizens to work together with the Govt. for the development of the district.

Dirang in West Kameng also observed the statehood day celebration in a befitting manner.

6. Namsai

 


The national flag was hoisted at Namsai stadium ground by Namsai DC, Shri R.K. Sharma as a special guest during the occasion, in presence of several leaders and distinguished dignitaries. Addressing the occasion he urged the public to uphold the spirit of justice, liberty and equality, and work together with the Govt. for the development of the district. The program was followed with a beautiful parade and cultural performance.

7. Tirap

 

  

Deputy Commissioner of Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh, Shri Taro Mize unfurled the national flag at the district headquarters in presence of all the HODs, public and other dignitaries. Gracing the event, the DC handed over prizes to all the participants in the program and urged the public to work together with the govt. for the development of the district. Other notable highlights included musical performances by bands, cultural performances displayed by several tribal groups, Taekwondo and many other games & sports. 

8. Lower Dibang Valley

The Roing Zilla Parishad Chairperson, Shri Obang Ngupok unfurled the National flag at General ground Roing, marking the auspicious occasion in presence of Hon’ MLA Shri Mutchu Mithi, DC Soumya Saurabh (IAS) and other dignitaries. Speaking as the Chief Guest, ZPC highlighted about the achievement made by the district and wish for the better performance in days to come. Continuing his speech, he lauded various departments for working sincerely and for the development of the district. Loan sanction letters were also disbursed under Atma Nirbhar Bagwani Yojana and Atma Nirbhar Krishi Yojana, to various SHGs at the event.

9. Changlang district

Changlang district celebrated the statehood day with much enthusiasm, where various cultural shows, martial art displays took place, along with exotic breed pets displayby Veterinary department. A futsal match was also held between the youths of the district during the program. SHG beneficiaries of the district also benefitted from the disbursement of loan sanction letters under Atma Nirbhar Bagwani Yojana and Atma Nirbhar Krishi Yojana.

10. East Siang

In East Siangdistrict of Arunachal Pradesh, Ruksin ZPM Smt. Anung Gammeng unfurled the national flag at Ruksin general ground in presence of ADC Tajing Jonnom, Administrative officers, HoDs, public leaders and other ZPMs. Gracing the event as the Chief Guest, she urged the citizens to cooperate with the Govt. for the development of the district. Continuing with her speech, she also appealed the public to strictly follow covid appropriate behavior to eradicate the dreaded virus. Commendation certificates were also conferred to police personals, govt. employees, farmers for their good work for the welfare of the society.


11. West Siang

Marking the occasion, ZPM Shri Babom Romin unfurled the national flag at Govt HSSchool ground, Aalo. Gracing the event, he emphasised on the developmental progress of the state. The program featureda parade, cultural events by children, followed by many more activities. Under the Atma Nirbhar Bagwani Yojana and Atma Nirbhar Krishi Yojana, 5 SHGs received loan sanction letters during the event.
