Why do people love BTS?
Bangtan Sonyeondan (translating to Bulletproof Boys)
abbreviation of BTS, is currently one of the top-tiered groups of performance
artists in the entire globe. BTS debuted on June 13, 2013, under Big Hit
Entertainment with the single album 2 Cool 4 Skool. Seven individuals make up
the group: (stage names) RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. BTS is
renowned for its dynamic performances, creative choreography, and music that

which include supporting and advocating causes related to youth empowerment and
mental health.
They have attained recognition and success on a global scale, breaking several records and taking home many honours for their work.
Hailing from different sides of the world, in South Korea, with language barriers and cultural differences, BTS has swooned the world into their attraction. And even as a K-pop group, BTS has experienced a lot of firsts in the international scene. The group's second Korean studio album, Wings (2016), was their first to sell one million copies in South Korea. They became the first K-pop group to perform at the American Music Awards and became the first K-pop group to be nominated at the Grammys recently. They were the first K-Pop group to debut at no. 1 on U.S Billboard 200 and the first Korean group to perform live at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards. BTS bagged the 'Top Social Artist at the Billboard Music Awards for 2 consecutive years in recognition of being the artist with the highest fan engagement on social media also, they became the first K-Pop boy group to cross 1.1 billion views on YouTube. According to Fortune, the Hyundai Research Institute had in 2018 estimated that the group was bringing in over USD 3.6 billion to the South Korean economy every year and generating USD 1.1 billion in consumer goods exports in a single year.
Their contribution to their country is immense for which they have earned national awards in recognition of their work. BTS received the Order of Cultural Merit on October 24, 2018, the fifth-class Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit award presented at the Korean Popular Culture & Arts Awards for their economic contributions to their country, making them the youngest recipients ever. The group’s achievement even received notice from South Korean President Moon Jae-in, representing their country thrice at the UN General Assembly in the 73rd Assembly where Kim Namjoon (RM) gave a heartfelt speech, the 75th Assembly (BTS addressed the event virtually) and the group were appointed as Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture' by the President of South Korea Moon Jae In for the 76th Assembly.
Since their debut, BTS has been actively working, performing, and accomplishing a lot, and Armys (their fandom moniker) have a significant role in this achievement. The Army is aware of these people's potential, effort, and sincerity. As you get caught up in the BTS craze, you'll see how endearing this group is; their personal histories will even make the toughest grown men weak. For this reason, once you join the BTS fandom, you cannot leave it.
