The 76th Independence Day celebration in Arunachal Pradesh
1. ITANAGAR
The auspicious occasion of the 76th #IndependenceDay is being celebrated with great zeal across the state. The Hon'ble Chief Minister unfurled the National Flag at Dera Natung Govt. College, Itanagar, in the presence of DC, HoDs, and other dignitaries. Band display, March Past, and Cultural Event were also displayed at the event. A platoon from the 31st Battalion of ITBP was awarded the best Marching Contingent Trophy by the Hon’ble CM Shri Pema Khandu.
2. RAJ BHAWAN
The #76thIndependenceDay was celebrated with the Hon’ble Governor Brigadare B.D. Mishra hoisting the National Flag at the Raj Bhawan, Itanagar. Speaking on the occasion, His Excellency recalled the unsung heroes of the freedom movement and paid tribute to the martyrs who gave their lives for our freedom. His excellency also urged the citizens to put the nation's first spirit in themselves to make India stronger and more developed.
3. UPPER SIANG
The Upper Siang district #76IndependenceDay was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the General Ground, Yingkiong. The Hon'ble Health Minister, Shri Alo Libang, graced the event as Chief Guest and unfurled the National Flag in the presence of officials and the general public. The celebration was followed by the Republic Day Parade, which was showcased by NCC and Scouts & Guides from various schools.
4. TAWANG
Tawang, #ArunachalPradesh, celebrated # 76IndependenceDay with great pomp and circumstance. Gracing the event as a Chief Guest, the Hon'ble MLA, Shri Tsering Tashi, unfurled the National Flag in the presence of DC, SP, Army Jawans, and other delegates. The event was followed by March Past, a band display, cultural events, and many more items, all performed by school students across the state.
5. WEST SIANG
Commemorating the occasion of the 76th Independence Day, the Hon’ble MLA, Shri Kento Jini, unfurled the National Flag at the Aalo Govt. Higher Secondary School, West Siang. Speaking on the occasion, the HMLA remembered all the freedom fighters who laid down their lives giving freedom to our motherland. He also thanked all the Indian Armed Forces for protecting the nation from terrorism.
6. KURUNG KUMEY
The auspicious occasion of 76th Independence Day is celebrated with great fanfare in the Kurung Kumey district. The event was followed by a band display, March Past of NCC and Scout & Guides boys and girls, and cultural programs.
7. WEST KAMENG
The citizens of the West Kameng district celebrated the 76th Independence Day with great enthusiasm. Students and teachers of Guru Tenpai Dronme Vidyalay carried out a ‘Prabhat Pheri' to commemorate the event.
8. KRA DAADI
Joining the rest of the world, the Kra Daadi district also celebrated the 76th Independence Day with great fanfare at Jawaharlal Navodhya Vidyalaya, Palin.
9. EAST KAMENG
Along with the other districts of Arunachal Pradesh, East Kameng also observed the 76th Independence Day of India in a befitting manner. At the occasion, a drone for social impact, "Medicine From The Sky," was also launched.
10. LOHIT
The 76th Independence Day was observed with great zeal at the Mini Stadium, Chongkham, Lohit. The Hon’ble DCM Shri Chowna Mein unfurled the National Flag and paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.
11. LOWER SIANG
The Lower Siang district celebrated the 76th Independence Day with great zeal. In a unique way, they all dress up in traditional attire to commemorate the event as well as promote the cultural heritage of the state.
12. PAKKE KESANG
The 76th #IndependenceDay was celebrated with great zeal at Pakke-Kessang. Hon’ble MLA Biyuram Wahge joined the nation in celebrating 76th Independence Day at Pakke-Kessang and distributed commendation certificates to the achievers of the district.
13. LOWER DIBANG VALLEY
The Lower Dibang Valley district celebrated the 76th Independence Day with great enthusiasm at the General Ground, Roing. The Hon'ble MLA, Shri Mutchu Mithi, graced the event as Chief Guest and unfurled the National Flag in the presence of officials and the general public.
14. TIRAP
Joining the rest of the world, the Tirap district also celebrated the 76th Independence Day with great fanfare. The event also hosts a parade show and cultural programme displayed by school students of the district.
15. EAST SIANG
The 76th Independence Day was celebrated with much pomp at the Outdoor Stadium, Pasighat, East Siang. On the occasion, the National Flag was unfurled by the Hon’ble MLA Shri Kaling Moyong in the presence of officials, police personnel, students, and the general public.
16. CHANGLANG
Commemorating the 76th Independence Day, the Hon’ble Urban Development Minister Shri Kamlung Mosang unfurled the National Flag in the presence of General Public at Miao, Changlang. Students from several schools show great enthusiasm and join in the event, displaying a parade and several cultural and martial arts items.
17. UPPER SUBANSIRI
In the remote village of New Rinchi Dumporijo in Daporijo, Upper Subansiri district, they celebrated the 76th Independence Day with great zeal. The National Flag was unfurled in the presence of lower primary children, inculcating the feeling of patriotism among them.
18. LEPA RADA
A glimpse of 76th Independence Day Celebrated at Basar, Leparada. The Hon’ble MLA Shri Gokar Basar unfurled the National Flag in the presence of the general public.
19. NAMSAI
Namsai witnessed the #76thindependenceday celebration. Hon'ble MLA Shri Chau Zingnu Namchoom hoisted the Tiranga and inaugurated the exhibition at APIL Ground as well as inaugurated Futsal Ground at the Multipurpose sports complex.
20. PAPUM PARE
76th Independence Day was observed at the District Office, Papum Pare in the presence of DC Rana Sachin (IAS) and others.
21. ANJAW
The 76th Independence Day was celebrated with great zeal in the Anjaw district, Arunachal Pradesh. The event also included small children who enthusiastically participated in cultural events.
22. DIBANG VALLEY
76th Independence Day was observed at the District Headquarter, Dibang Valley in the presence of MLA, DC, and other dignitaries.
23. LOWER SUBANSIRI
Joining the rest of the world, the Lower Subansiri district also celebrated the 76th Independence Day with great fanfare. The event also hosts a parade show and cultural programme displayed by school students of the district.
24. KAMLE
The 76th Independence Day was celebrated with much pomp in Kamle district, with the Hon’ble MLA, Shri Darin Dakpa, hoisting the National Flag. The programme was followed by several cultural events and a parade by the NCC, Scouts & Guides, as well as police personnel.
25. LONGDING
The auspicious occasion of the 76th Independence Day is being celebrated with great zeal across the state. The Hon'ble RWD Minister Shri Honchun Ngamdam unfurled the National Flag at Longding General Ground, in the presence of HMLA Shri Tanpho Wangnaw, DC Shri Bani Lego, HoDs, and other dignitaries.
26. SHI-YOMI
The 76th Independence Day was celebrated with great zeal at an altitude of 6,000 feet in Menchuka town of Shi-Yomi district. Several cultural events were displayed by students, police personnel, and the Indian Army.
27. Siang
The 76th Independence Day was celebrated with much pomp at Kaying, Siang district. On the occasion, the National Flag was unfurled by the Hon’ble MLA Er. Talem Tabo in the presence of officials, police & Army personnel, students, and the general public.
