Youthcove Foundation, in collaboration with Charchita Foundation, will organise Hope Wear (Ashar-Suta), a community-driven donation drive on Sunday, 28 December 2025, in Guwahati. The initiative aims to support vulnerable and underprivileged sections of society through a structured, dignified, and transparent outreach effort.

The drive is entirely non-monetary and voluntary, focusing on the collection and distribution of essential items such as clean and usable clothing, household utility items, hygiene essentials, and children's necessities including school bags and learning materials across Guwahati. The programme is designed to ensure orderly handling, sensitivity towards beneficiaries, and responsible community participation.

Youthcove Foundation, a youth-centric not-for-profit organisation engaged in community engagement, social awareness, and capacity building, is leading the initiative. Charchita Foundation, a grassroot organisation with deep community linkages, is supporting on-ground mobilisation and beneficiary coordination. Together, the two organisations aim to foster a culture of responsible giving and civic consciousness, rather than episodic charity.

The distribution will take place at Sarokri, opposite Downtown Hospital, Guwahati - 06, with volunteers ensuring systematic collection, sorting, and fair distribution of donated items. Local communities, institutions, and citizens have been encouraged to participate by contributing items in good, usable condition.

Speaking about the initiative, representatives from Youthcove Foundation stated that HopeWear (Ashar-Suta) is rooted in the belief that warmth is a basic human need and that collective action, when organised responsibly, can create meaningful social impact. 

The organisers have also welcomed guidance and support from community leaders, institutions, and the general public to help extend the reach of the drive and encourage wider participation.
