In a grand celebration of India’s 76th Republic Day, the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Lt. General KT Parnaik, PVSM, UYSM, YSM (Retd), and the First Lady of the State, Smt. Anagha Parnaik, hosted the traditional ‘At Home’ reception at Raj Bhavan, Itanagar. The event, marked by warmth and festivity, was a fitting tribute to the occasion.

The reception saw the gracious presence of prominent figures, including Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu, his Council of Ministers, members of the State Legislative Assembly, senior officials, bureaucrats, ex-servicemen, Veer Naris, sports personalities, achievers, students, differently-abled children, and other distinguished guests.

A key highlight of the event was a mesmerizing Band Display by students from Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Nirjuli, led by Class IX student Km. Jumni Nyori. The students showcased exceptional talent and coordination, earning admiration from all present for their spirited performance.

Raj Bhavan was beautifully adorned for the occasion, with vibrant floral displays and the national tri-colours adding to the festive atmosphere. The well-decorated setting, paired with the warmth and enthusiasm of the gathering, made the reception an unforgettable part of Arunachal Pradesh’s Republic Day celebrations.
