Seva Aapke Dwar: Delivering Public Services at the Doorstep
The Seva Aapke Dwar initiative is bringing government services directly to citizens across Arunachal Pradesh. The campaign aims to improve access to essential public services and welfare schemes by reaching people in their local communities. Camps are being organized in different districts to ensure that government benefits are accessible to all.
Ensuring Access to Government Services
The initiative for Daporijo, Upper Subansiri District, was recently launched by Hon’ble Minister Shri Balo Raja, where residents availed services such as Aadhaar enrollment, income and birth certificates, and various welfare benefits.
A camp held in Punli Village, Dibang Valley, provided services including birth certificates, Aadhaar registrations, free health check-ups, and seed distribution to farmers.
Expanding Outreach to More Communities
In Anpum, Dambuk subdivision, Lower Dibang Valley, over 713 residents accessed government services. Similarly, in Angu, West Siang, more than 300 beneficiaries received essential documents such as ST certificates, PRC, and Aadhaar updates.
The campaign also reached Jote, Papum Pare, where Smt. Parul Gaur Mittal, Mentor Secretary to Papum Pare, inaugurated the camp, benefiting 593 citizens. In Ayeng Village, East Siang, HMLA Shri Oken Tayeng flagged off the camp, where 405 residents received services. During the event, 20 women weavers received solar lamps, and 30 soil health cards were distributed to farmers under a Prime Minister’s scheme.
Reaching Remote Areas
Seva Aapke Dwar has also extended to areas like Panhchau, Longding, where over 800 people received Aadhaar enrollments, bank account openings, and other government services. Similarly, in Gipulin Village, Dibang Valley, residents accessed welfare programs and public services.
In Damro, Upper Siang, 539 residents from Damro, Mariyang, and Milang villages benefited from services provided by 20 departments, ensuring easier access to government schemes.
Ongoing Efforts Across the State
The campaign continues in other districts, with more Seva Aapke Dwar camps being set up in different villages. Government departments are working to extend public services to more remote areas, ensuring that citizens receive essential documents, welfare benefits, and healthcare facilities without the need for long travel.
Seva Aapke Dwar remains an important step in strengthening service delivery in Arunachal Pradesh, making governance more accessible and citizen-friendly.
